Description:

The David and Lucile Packard Foundation’s Fellowships provide early career faculty members, within the first three years of their appointment, (between  May 31, 2022 and  May 31, 2025), engaged in research in the natural and physical sciences or engineering the opportunity to pursue their science and engineering research with few funding restrictions and limited paperwork requirements over a five year period.Disciplines that will be considered include physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, astronomy, computer science, earth science, ocean science, and all branches of engineering. Candidates engaged in research in the social sciences will not be considered.

Harvard University, as one institution, is eligible to put forward two nominations to the Packard Foundation for this prestigious opportunity. The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is facilitating an internal application and selection process.

Applicants who hold a primary appointment at HMS/Quad or HMS affiliated hospitals must apply to this opportunity through the Office of Foundation Funds at HMS.
