
Yavana Ganesh serves as a Research Compliance Officer for the Research Compliance Program within the Office of the Vice Provost for Research. In this role, Yavana works with research faculty on research compliance and policy activities, including export controls, international collaborations, conflicts of interest, and other foreign activities, while coordinating and integrating university policies.
Prior to this role, Yavana worked as a national security specialist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, primarily focused on topics related to research security, export controls, and chemical security for the U.S. Department of State. Yavana holds a Master of Science in Global Studies and International Relations from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Politics and Government from the University of Hartford.
