Abigail Outterson, MPH, is an IRB Administrator for the Harvard University Area IRB. Abby’s portfolio includes the Graduate School of Design, SEAS/WYSS, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Physics, Computational Science, and Human Evolutionary Biology. Before joining Harvard in November 2024, she has worked in various roles that inform her work with the IRB, including as a healthcare contracts paralegal, a clinical research/regulatory coordinator, and as a Public Health Law Fellow with the American Public Health Association. Abby has a bachelor’s degree in Biological Anthropology and MPH from Boston University. She is thrilled to support research at Harvard University Area as a member of the IRB team.
