Ani Heller serves as the Research Compliance Officer for the Research Compliance Program within the Office of the Vice Provost for Research. In this role, Ani works with SEAS and FAS faculty and administrators on a broad spectrum of research compliance and policy activities with an emphasis on financial conflict of interest, export control, international collaborations and other foreign activities, while coordinating and integrating as necessary across other compliance domains. She also provides training and outreach to FAS and SEAS faculty and staff on regulatory and University policy requirements around fCOI, international collaborations, visiting scholars, travel, and shipping, as well as the technology-specific impacts of export controls both on- campus and abroad.
Prior to joining the RCP, Ani was an IRB Reliance and QA/QI administrator for the Harvard University Area IRB. Prior to joining Harvard, Ani was an IRB Administrator at Utah State University. Ani holds a B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles, a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law, and an LL.M in International Human Rights Law from City, University of London.
