Brooke Pulitzer serves as Harvard’s Senior Assistant Provost for Research, where she works with leadership to advance a broad portfolio of research priorities for the University, develops new research initiatives and programs, oversees the management of internal funding competitions and all limited submission funding opportunities, and manages OVPR operations.
Prior to joining the Office of the Vice Provost for Research, Brooke held a dual role as the Director of Programs and Administration for the Harvard Initiative for Learning and Teaching (HILT), catalyzing innovation and excellence in learning and teaching at Harvard, and the Research Manager for the Vice Provost for Advances in Learning (VPAL) Research organization, enabling research on how students learn and enhancing related efforts through data science. Brooke also served as the Harvard Provost’s chief of staff from 2007-2011.
