Carolina Becerril, MPH, is an IRB Administrator for the Harvard University Area IRB. Her portfolio includes Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Law School. Before joining Harvard in April 2024, she previously worked as a Study Coordinator at Fenway Health, where she organized and implemented research protocols related to infectious disease and sexual health research. Carolina has an educational background in public health earning both her bachelor’s degree in health science and Masters of Public Health at Boston University. She has previous experience in research at various organizations working as a research assistant including the BMC Grayken Center for Addiction and Pediatrics Department. She is very excited for this new transition in her research career and looks forward to the opportunity of providing guidance to the research community at Harvard.
