Chris Wagner serves as the Associate Research Compliance Administrator within the Office of the Vice Provost for Research. In this capacity, Chris supports the Research Compliance team in its work facilitating the conduct of University wide research.
Prior to joining the OVPR having relocated to the USA from the UK, Chris was the Governance, Risk & Compliance Manager for St Edmund’s College, University of Cambridge, where he was responsible for all aspects of the College’s risk and compliance portfolio and effective institutional governance, working primarily on the development and implementation of systems, policies, procedures and practices to facilitate compliance across a wide range of regulatory areas. Before this, Chris, who is a UK-qualified lawyer, spent several years working in private legal practice, advising clients primarily in the road transport sector on a range of regulatory compliance and best practice areas.
