Drew Nichols is the Executive Assistant and Project Coordinator in the Office of the Vice Provost for Research at Harvard University, where he supports Willy Lensch, the Associate Provost for Research with calendar management, Interfaculty Initiatives (IFI), and special projects.
Prior to joining OVPR, Drew was at the Massachusetts Institute for Technology for nine years in positions of increasing responsibility. He worked with Facilities, the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and the School of Architecture and Planning. His most recent role at MIT supported the Associate Director for Collections at MIT Libraries and her department heads.
Before starting at MIT, Drew worked at Suffolk University in the Sawyer Business School. In addition to his roles in higher ed, he has worked for nonprofits in both professional and volunteer capacities. Drew holds a degree in English, with a minor in sociology, from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.
