Rose Garcia is the Senior Project Coordinator in the Office of the Vice Provost for Research at Harvard University, where she supports Ara Tahmassian, University Chief Research Compliance Officer, and manages various OVPR special projects and strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining OVPR, she was on the operations team at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, which is ranked the #1 University-affiliated Think Tank in the world by the Global Go To Think Tank Index Report.
Before starting at Harvard, Garcia was an Assistant Resident Director in the Office of Housing and Residential Education at Berklee College of Music. She also has a background in political campaigns, most notably as an Assistant Field Director for Marty Walsh’s inaugural Boston mayoral campaign. Garcia holds a dual degree in Political Science and Philosophy with high honors from Suffolk University.
