
Rose Garcia is the Senior Project Coordinator in the Office of the Vice Provost for Research at Harvard University, where she manages various OVPR special projects and strategic initiatives, as well as supports Ara Tahmassian, University Chief Compliance Officer.
Prior to joining OVPR, Garcia worked in operations at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she managed the center’s fellowship program and supported then Director, and former U.S. Secretary of Defense, Ashton B. Carter.
Before starting at Harvard, Garcia was an Assistant Resident Director in the Office of Housing and Residential Education at Berklee College of Music. She also has a background in political campaigns, most notably as an Assistant Field Director for Marty Walsh’s inaugural Boston mayoral campaign. Garcia holds a degree in Political Science and Philosophy with honors from Suffolk University.
