Shana Maikhor serves as the Associate Research Compliance Administrator within the Office of the Vice Provost for Research.
In this capacity, Shana works to facilitate the conduct of University wide research through the review of studies held internationally or ones that may pose reputational risk.
Prior to joining OVPR, Shana worked as a Senior Research Consultant at Quantalum, coordinating all aspects of clinical project operations and activities. Preceding Quantalum, Shana was at Boston Medical Center where she served as Clinical Research Manager in the department of Nephrology. Before moving to Boston, Shana worked at the Digestive Disease and Surgery Institute at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. There, she managed cutting edge trials in Uterine Transplantation, and Ex-Vivo Normothermic Machine Perfusion in Livers while supporting a team of coordinators. Prior to her work at the Cleveland Clinic, Shana was at Bellevue Hospital engaging minority communities in qualitative and quantitative research on Organ Donation. Shana received her undergraduate degree from Yeshiva University in New York, and her MEd in Community Health Promotion from Cleveland State University.
