The Aramont Fellowship Fund for Emerging Science Research is made possible by a generous gift from the Aramont Charitable Foundation and provides critical funding to advance early-career high-risk, high reward science and engineering conducted at Harvard Medical School, the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
The Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR) administers the Fund on behalf of the President of Harvard University, at whose discretion awards are made. The OVPR will invite nominations from the deans of the relevant schools, at which point nominated applicants may submit proposals for funding.
To date there have been eight funding cycles, with a total of 35 awards made to researchers at eligible schools. Read about the 2025 Awardees here.
