Description: 

The American Diabetes Association Pathway to Stop Diabetes Initiator Award is designed to support postdoctoral/ research fellowship individuals in the late stages (no more than seven years from ) of their mentored training.

The award is split into two distinct phases. Phase 1 will allow the Postdoctoral/ Fellowship awardee to complete ongoing research, publish results, and develop independent research plans. Phase 2 will provide support for the awardee in their first faculty appointment.

Running concurrently to this opportunity is the ADA Pathway to Stop Diabetes Accelerator Award for early career faculty. The link provided below concerns the Initiator Award.
